Brad Pitt's new movie "Inglourious Basterds" will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, according to reports by English newspaper The Guardian and film trade magazine Variety.
Directed by Quentin Tarantino, who won the Cannes Festival's highest prize "The Golden Palm" for "Pulp Fiction", the controversial movie - also starring Mike Myers of "Austin Powers" fame as well as Diane Krueger - tells the story of a group of Jewish-American soldiers in France during the second world-war and has been described by Tarantino as a "spaghetti-western but with World War II iconography".
